Sergei Tumanov is a sound artist and musician from Saint-Petersburg, Russia. Nowadays he is living in Melbourne, Australia.
Sergei’s music is mostly based on directions of improvised #noise, #drone and #ambient genres.
Sergei Tumanov is also a member of different projects with local and foreign musicians in a collaboration with artists who work in other musical directions as well (such as different types of electronic music, metal and rock music); with dancers; video artists; performers and theatres. Sergei’s music is mostly based on directions of improvised noise, drone, eai and ambient genres.
As an independent / freelance musician Sergei has released several albums including the projects: ..dno< sound theater, UNDEON, SPACEKING, ANIMI VULTUS, OKSYMORON, NARUZKO, SACRIFICES. His work is available in digital (iTunes, Spotify and Bandcamp) and physical formats (CDs, cassettes) in Australia, Russia, Europe and the USA.
As a part of ..dno< sound theater Sergei performed at several major art events, festivals and contemporary art exhibitions in Russia and Europe (including such festivals as „Museum Night”, „Open Look”, „Aposition” (Saint-Petersburg, Russia); „Disainiöö” (Tallinn, Estonia); „Akusmata” (Helsinki, Finland), „Performance Art Festival – PerfImmaterial 2017” (Pori, Finland); and many others.
In 2018, Sergei presented a sound installation project in 3 parts together with ..dno< and the Berlin (Germany) based musician from the USA, Eric Wong. The first part took place in the art residency of Berlin, Petersburg art space.
Sergei is also working as a sound-producer, composer and sound engineer for video projects, such as “Two Mobsters & Cement” (by Alexey Erberg, Saint-Petersburg, Russia) and “Red & Black” (by Timur Safiullin, Melbourne, Australia). Sergei is focusing on researching new ways of sound and sound extraction from different objects (electronic and domestic) and uses different sound/noise generators together with acoustic and electro instruments. Sergei is widely using field recordings and exploring a contribution between an artist and his environment (whether it is nature or city or anything else).
At the moment Sergei is mostly living and working in Melbourne, Australia. However, he is regularly performing in Europe and Russia as well as a solo artist as with his main project ..dno< sound theater.

Jarko Muzykant, improwizuje live na syntezatorach i każdej dziwnej elektronice. Lubi dźwięki anachroniczne, atonalne, arytmiczne. Czasem zwany dekonstruktorem. ALE lubi też minimalizm i w projekcie zasypianie uwielbia głęboki subbas i spokojny flow syntezatorów.
Z Romanem Wielochem ostatnio wydał płytę pt „ Bardzo często ludzie spoufalają się ze sobą na parkiecie) (it’s oten quite pally dawn there on the floor) ( dostępna na bandcampie).
Współzałożyciel zespołu Dropsy muzykanta ( Red Ink, Łukasz Mikołajczyk) oraz tria Pachon
Poza tym twórca multimedialny tworzy projekt performatywny aktor cyfrowy. Systematycznie kreuje cyfrowe orbitowania na scenie supernova.
