ҽӀҽ-ցì-ҽӀì
9-channel sound sculpture — conceptually fluid
…or a sound system that playfully speculates the possibility of a loudspeaker to function simultaneously as an acoustic diffuser panel. A positive Brusselization has formed its shape through the influence of city’s skyline, unconstrained architecture and flexible moving bodies. The loudspeakers as sculptures express the potential of dance and bodily listening as a collective leisure activity.
….or one hour long sonic performance that narrates a story of an imaginary electronic music composer amigoismyfriend, whose newest album is previewed by imaginary radio DJ. The songs are inspired by the city of Brussels and mediated in broken French allowing the original meaning of the lyrics to distort into vocal expressions that might convey misunderstandings.
…or a platform for sonic art practitioners, performers and bodily listeners. Mobile in its nature. Ready and willing to serve. So far it has served ugne&maria, Tomutonttu, Caroline Profanter, Quanta Qualia, Julia E. Dyck, Liew Niyomkarn, DIAN, Weird Dust, Plato V., mii, Marloes Van Son, Spāre, Mimi Veter, Agamwe, Splius and several DJ’s which all have left unique sonic imprint on sound sculpture’s wooden surface.
/ele-gi-eli was made possible with the support of Arts Promotion Centre Finland and Finnish Art Society/
ele-gi-eli adaptation to radio performed at Kiosk radio 7th January 2024, Brussels, Belgium

ARI-PEKKA LEINONEN [FI]
Ari-Pekka Leinonen actively works with performatic sound art installations that utilise sound projection with multiple loudspeakers. Other than that he is interested in carpenting, possibilities of loudspeakers as wooden sculptures and how the sound systems create platforms for moving bodies and sonic storytelling. 2023 he explored the skyline of Brussels and minor details of the city facade in order to combine the visual explorations and aural discoveries into a conclusive soundpiece ele-gi-eli for his sound triptych consisting of two earlier works L=10 and ||: o / dear<3 :||
Currently he is exploring the mystical figure „A Donner” that keeps on gifting people with free items. This research should eventually transform into a musical performance that would „give”. Other than that his current modus operandi circulates around ele-gi-eli and how to put that on the road as a traveling sound sculpture.

POLA TRABINSKA(acc Polowanie) [PL]
Instrumentalist, vocalist, sound performer and music producer constantly being inspired by quasi-jazz, uncovential electronic and minimalistic/maximalistic sounds. She has been experimenting and challenging herself for over a decade. Previously associated with Avant Art Festival, Glissando magazine, The Stage Song Review, Instytut Dźwięku and Sztuka Ciała Theatre. As a female solo artist she still believes in a concept of inclusiveness and diversity in music and sound. Polowanie is a project about establishing a once-elusive relationship with oneself. It is a sound mimicry and insightful study of the phenomenon of rumination. An experimental tale about the infinite world of inner dialog between feelings and reason.
Recently she’s been taking a deep dive into drone, noise and ambient. Is techno pass passé composé?
