A balance between intuition and reflection. Interview with Abul Mogard and Grand River
For the last decade, Berlin-based Dutch-Italian composer and musician Aimée Portioli, aka Grand River, has been circling the perimeter of electronic music and sound art, crafting heady electroacoustic soundscapes while simultaneously devising multichannel installations and rupturing the boundary between the gallery and the performance space. Abul Mogard is the alter ego of Italian musician Guido Zen, known for evocative albums and immersive live performances.
